The Outdoor Coffee Bar for everyone Remezo coffee bar is located in the beginning of the old harbour in Thassos Town and it is one of our favourite spots on the island.  As we visit this coffee bar we can not but feel one with the Aegean sea as we chill out and look at the little Thassos fishermen's boats while the seagulls are flying above the glittering water.  Remezo means the place at the harbor where the ships stop as they get tied to the port with the use of strong sailor's knots. Remezo coffee bar is run by Soulis, a former sailor who decided to make Remezo bar a warm and friendly place where people will enjoy every minute of it in a sea-navy decorated environment.  Soulis has travelled to every part of the world apart from Norway and Alaska. He has so many amazing stories to tell you. Soulis always makes everyone welcome at Remezo coffee bar and shares some of his adventures to his visitors.  Feel free to have a chat with him and also blend in with other locals that go to Remezo to have a drink(or two!) of greek ouzo.  Remezo coffee bar in Thassos is one of the best places to have ouzo and don't forget to ask Soulis for a meze(different bits of salads and starters) to go with it!  Remezo is the coffee bar for all times. Enjoy your breakfast, have a beer at lunchtime and different cocktails at night.
