Banks, Post offices and all other public services operate Monday to Friday from 8.30 a .m. to 2.00 p.m.
Tab water in Thassos is drinkable. If you prefer bottled water you can find it at all supermarkets, restaurants, cafeterias and kiosks.
For emergencies there is twenty four hour doctor service at the Health center in Prinos. In addition, there are private doctors you can visit if there is a need.
The pharmacies in Thassos operate at regular business hours. There is one that stays open during the night and the early morning hours.
