Nikos' wife Roula showed us around this accommodation and as we went in the rooms we where at a loss for words.

From the balcony we could see all over the rich greenery of Kazaviti reaching out to the sea.

In Hotel Tsigoura the rooms were very comfortable and cool for the summer and for the winter nights some even have a fireplace. Thassos is the greek island that you can visit all year round.

Just imagine having your breakfast here with this authentic greek nature around you. We even heard the bells of little lambs that a local sheperd had brought all over the mountain!

Just after our tour of the hotel accommodation we had some great dinner at the hotels restaurant which is one of the most traditional greek restaurants we have been at. Do try "kontosouvli". So great. From the interior decoration to the breathtaking view and the traditional greek dishes it's just a must experience. The head waiter Kostas is most helpful and creates a nice atmosphere for all the guests. The restaurant is not just for the guests of the hotel but for all. We met some familiar faces of Thassos there. You can enjoy the chef's tasty dishes in a real greek setting. There is plenty of room inside and outside suitable for all seasons. Either a guest in the hotel, in the taverna or simply a visitor you will have a brilliant time in Tsigoura. Lots of times Socrates grabs his bouzouki and plays some greek tunes. Join in the fun.
